After being taken into custody Thursday evening at Miami International Airport, a member of the NBA's Minnesota Timberwolves is still being held there.

The 28-year-old Taurean Waller-Prince is awaiting extradition after being arrested shortly before 8 p.m. on an out-of-state warrant.

NBC Sports reported that the warrant originated in Texas, but no information regarding the charges against him was provided.

The Timberwolves said in a statement that they were "collecting additional information" and were "informed of the alleged report about Taurean Prince."

The forward attended Baylor University and is a native of San Antonio, Texas. He was selected by the Utah Jazz with the No. 12

overall choice in the 2016 NBA Draft, and he later played for the Cleveland Cavaliers, Atlanta Hawks, and Brooklyn Nets.
