Tim Burton's 'Wednesday' trailer is dark and magical

A very Burton-like promo for the upcoming spinoff series "Wednesday" has been revealed.

Jenna Ortega, who starred in "You," portrays Wednesday, the Addams family's clairvoyant teenage daughter who has a gothic aesthetic.

She says she will experience some "mayhem" at Nevermore Academy, where she is a student.

In the teaser, Ortega says, "Little did I know that I'd be stepping into a nightmare." "Packed with intrigue, chaos, and murder. I anticipate enjoying myself greatly here.

As Morticia, Luis Guzmán plays Gomez, and Isaac Ordonez plays Wednesday's brother Pugsley in the show, which also stars Catherine Zeta-Jones as Morticia.

Thing is played by Victor Dorobantu, and Lurch is played by George Burcea. The series will feature Christina Ricci, who portrayed Wednesday in the 1990s movies.

The series will feature eight episodes and Burton will direct four.
